Mexicali, B.C.- ITR (Technological Institute of Rehabilitation) is a non-profit organization that researches and develops medical devices and rehabilitation equipment.

With a team of researchers, professionals, students and volunteers committed to improve our community living conditions; ITR is headed by a young engineer from Martech Medical, Ruben Castañeda, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.

Rubén Castañeda and his team are now developing and manufacturing low-cost prosthetic limbs to help those in need of a hand or a leg.

We share this unique effort by ITR, an initiative built on the need to give these kids a complement to make their life as normal as possible. During the presentation, the non-governmental organization gave 6 mechanical prosthetic hands to kids, experiencing one of the most wonderful moments of our existence: the kids reactions. It was unique! Congratulations and thank you to Ruben Castañeda and team.
