Tijuana, B.C.- With the transfer of various production lines, Company officials are expecting significant growth for the industrial sector in the area and will offer important positions within plant. 


Avery a leader in office supplies is committed to the regions industrial development. Currently they are experiencing a solid transfer of manufacturing processes. Company’s Security and Health Department personnel Ms. Carmina Ornelas and Ms. Maria Salazar participated at the Smurfit Kappa Best Practices Forum. During their presentation they mentioned a part of their 124 thousand square meters and two (2) industrial buildings was under construction and going through an important transition. U.S. firm is transferring a sister operation from the U.S. to Tijuana and doing so in an impressive timely manner.


It will be a new project with new challenges, development plans and growth opportunities in all of areas, new employee hiring and other positive aspects for the industrial community and the State. Furthermore they shared best practices that they implement in their plant. Their Department, Safety and Security, is in charge of creating new projects to reduce accidents, handling of machinery, recycling, visitors training, third party contractors, and new hire training as well as having excellent modes of communication with all plant staff.
